What is a modular PSU?

Modular PSUs dont have all the wires attached, you can plug them in, this means if youre not using many wires you can save having the spare ones cluttering up your case
Non Modular ones have all the wires attached so if youre not using any you need to try and tuck them out the way
 
I have a modular psu and its definetly worth the slightly higher price. Keeping your case looking clutter free IS EASY :)
 
Hi lethiX. The sig police are gonna bust you for that one - must be 4 lines max! Oh and having an i7 at stock speed is also a serious offence :)
 
It looks like 4 lines to me? Or has he edited it already?

On topic: Modular PSU's are definitely worth the extra couple of quid... makes life a lot easier.
