There is an HDMR port on my motherboard, what is it for?

I have not heard of a HDMR port. It could be a HDMI port which is used for connecting to a HD LCD or Plasma display.

What make and model motherboard is it? I've heard of HDMI, AMR and CNR but never HDMR :confused:
