what is bios flashing?

Flashing the BIOS often gives you new micro code for new cpu's and other tweaks with the system that may help.
You would need to check your current version, this is shown during boot or download cpu-z and this will show your version.
Pop to the Gigabyte website and look for your motherboard and this will show you which cpu's work with what rev BIOS.
Edit: There are 2 versions of your board hopefully cpu-z may show this or it wold be on the board it's self.
