sorry its sidewards, I thought it would be landscape, but you can see what I mean.
 
I'm going to check the cable. Theres also a wireless PCI card right above the GFX card/input so I'll put that below the card a slot or two and see if that changes anything.
 
Sorry for the delay I'm back now.

Odd thing is, no lines at all using inbuilt GPU

So it's either, the GFX card (would it really be that) or a bad VGA>DVI adapter (Would it really be that?

which cost £1.50 online...

Monitor is an ASUS VH222D
 
Yeah I've gone "gold plated" route for a new cable. We'll see the results. But after trying other things the only thing it could be are, DVI port on GFX card, or the actual converter.
 
Yeah I'll try the new cable and it's either a new monitor or GFX card.. I don't know would I benefit more for having 1080p @120hz or 1080p with a 4GB card for newer games and mods
