I know theres always an amount of risk involved when ocing...but what is a safe voltage range before you really need to be a bit reluctant..??

I ask, because temp readings on DFI Expert are know to be way off.. so I cant judge by this...

Im sure Ive read somewhere that anything upto about 1.5v is relatively safe... Im hitting 2800 with 1.425v but want to know what I have left to play with... I would rather not whack up the volts just for a little improvement.

Thanks

Thanks Dutch Guy... think I will stick at 2800, all things considered its still one hell of a clock over stock! Obviously I was just curious to see what I could get from it, but as you say.. the perfomance increase relative to an increase in volts is prob not worth it...

I managed to boot into windows at 2900 @1.43v, not run any stress tests though... but as I said, the DFI Expert has a known temp bug, unless mine really is 20c with an XP120 and YS-Tech..!!! Which I very much doubt!!
