What is DIEmWIN.exe?

Hi, recently I've been having truble while restarting the computer. A program called "DIEmWin.exe will stop responding.

I've tried google etc and no one seems to know what it is except for an ATI issue. I don't have anything ATI in my computer.

I'm running Windows XP.

No anti-virus seems to find it so I'm confused.... search doesn't come up with anything either :/

I just noticed this program for the first time when I shut down my PC.

Anyone ever find out what it is?

Nothing much on Google...apart from this thread.

Cant you go to the task manager, right click it and file location?

It only appeared when I shut down Win 10...haven't seen it since.

It would appear that it's an OS file designed to aid with the closing down of applications, but that's only going by what you've told us. I'm not a reverse engineer expert and i don't work for MS so I can't be sure exactly what every OS file does. Neither can anyone else, to be honest, which is probably why there's very sparse information about exactly what DIEmWin.exe is specifically for.
