What is going on (boring rant)

I think kids now will look back on this time and think, really? That was the biggest issue you guys had to deal with? And you spent your time on it, made it such a big deal that now when things are this bad, you guys could have helped, at least a little, you could have given us the time you had to deal with things. I hope I'm very, very, completely wrong.

Climate.
Housing.
Wages/Growth.
Sanity.
Fallout from migration, inc terrorism and war.
Oh hey Trump, little bit late but get a drink and I'll bring you a seat.

While Brexit going to be better for all of us, cheapening the farming imports from outside the EU even on the most basic things.

65p pint of milk from Tesco, no bearing in from the EU, farmer gets about 3p of that if he's lucky, why does he want cheap farming imports? He's already suicidal over what UK Tesco are doing to him.

I am beginning to lose my patience, with the state of the country.

Where does GD think we will be in say 5 years?

How long will it take for the country to settle down again so that we know where we are?

Since the financial crisis we have just had year after year of uncertainty and lack of direction, our leaders used to behave like grown ups and now they seem like a bunch of kids.

Please, please GD give me some reassurance, will everything be alright?

country is pretty settled tbh.

in 5 years i think we'll be in very much the same situation we are now on the day to day.

I do not see why people are concerned, especially about the economy.
The BBC scaremongering, is so shallow, that any logical person who has some dignity can search in more than one place for the real news.

Even yesterday, BoE said that the country grew faster than any other western country, and we are up for a good 2017 also.

And I can see it on my sector also, feeling more optimistic for the 2017 than 2016.

Why? The importers wont have to pay the 18% CAP to the European Commission.
Yes, that's right. Anyone with concerns is just a pawn of the liberal elite without logic or decency.

And no doubt it's undeniable because you read it in the Daily Mail.

The irony of a post accusing others of a lack of logic including so many signs of uptake of the dog whistle post-truth memes of recent times is not wasted.

I guarantee that in 5 years time you will be one of the Brexiteers telling us, "This is not the Brexit I voted for, so I'm not culpable"

It's not just Overclockerererers who think the UK is heading for doom and gloom:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38459135

"Brexit is the firing gun on a decade of disruption"
"The UK is likely to remain trapped in a low growth, low interest rate decade driven by demographic shifts, productivity trends, weak investment, weak labour power, high levels of debt, and the headwinds of a slowing global economy."

You're welcome!

It started way before brexit. It has been decades. Brexit was a symptom, not a cause.

The average Joes will lose out, and some clever fellas will profit from the chaos & uncertainty - as it's always been. It's okay imo, because ultimately the average Joes did it to themselves. Will it be the end of the world? No, of course not, shooting yourself in the foot isn't the end of the world either - just really, really daft. Personally I look forward to making some (more) money from the collective's idiocy, and since I'm not tied down to the UK nor do I have a family to look after I can leave quite easily. Too bad for those that don't have that freedom.
