What is going on with Gmail?

Any idea what is going on with Gmail?

First thing this morning I had an error message saying that there was a problem reaching the server, then I had to enter security details and a code from my Mobile 'phone and now it doesn't appear to be working at all.

It appears to be a problem with Firefox Quantum.
I virtually never use Gmail but wanted to check something out, found it has a different interface and wasn't working.
It did work with MSIE and I expect that quite coincidentally it would work fine with Chrome
Still not working with Firefox Quantum.

I use NoScript, a new version of which has just been released to cater for changes in Firefox Quantum - could this be the problem?

The issue does seem to be / have been associated with NoScript. It seems to be OK now after I have tweaked a few settings.
