-Right, i built a new pc the other day, one of the first things i did was run memtest on it, it all passed a-ok!
-Installed windows, fine
-next day overclock the fsb, but change the dividers so the ram is running @ 751Mhz (within 800Mhz stock speed) was also running at very loose timings just untill i tweaked it (6-6-6-18 2t)
-Start getting BSOD's, assume it is the processor, so i put it all back to default in the bios
-still getting BSOD's and now my ram is failing metest!
What is going on? i've never known ram to just break like this when running it all within its thresholds?
anyone got any ideas or suggestions?
time to RMA to overclockers?
