What is going on?

I recently tried to update my drivers to the latest addition from Ati, but I keep getting this weird error.

I've done the usual routine correctly in deleting all drivers in safe mode etc. I've even tried older versions of drivers and they produced the same results.

Could this possibly be Vista SP1's doing?

Anything overclocked ? If so run at stock until the drivers are loaded.

Are you running the installation 'as administrator'?

Nothing is overclocked as of yet and I should be running everything as Administrator as far as I know.

It's giving me so many troubles at the moment and it has never happened before. I'm going to try a few more methods before I kick the bucket.
