Been wondering this over the last couple of days really. What is it about mmo games that attract so many people? Personally I'd much rather play an mmo than any offline games I've got, even though there are some cracking offline games, Oblivion, X3, half Life 2 etc.
Before I started playing Earth & Beyond I thought I'd never pay a monthly sub for a game, but once I statred playing that the bug bit and I've been MMO'ing it ever since, with various titles such as Neocron, SWG, PlanetSide, EVE Online, guildwars, WoW and most recently LTROL.
Which leads onto another question, with paying monthly subs for games, how many do you guys keep acitve? just the one that you sink most of your gaming time into or a couple and then play them both?
