What is it with people and egg and chips?

I mean it's greasy food - and I'm not the biggest admirer of grease.

People in the North seem to think the world of it, especially when on a budget. :rolleyes:

Give me macaroni cheese sauce, with a couple slices of corned-beef any day! :cool:

out of theose 2 meals....egg and chips all day long and im a southernererer, cant beat a good greasy spoon fry up! MMmmmm...well lunch is sorted cheers

I haven't had egg and chips for AGES. I tend to eat fairly healthy tbh, but I just cook too much and end up eating LOTS of healthy food

It's cheaper to cook large meals than small though.
