What is logitech RMA like?

My under a year old (just checked, bought 27th December last year ! :eek:

LOL) MX1000 just died I think, the battery went flat so I put it back in the craddle to charge. Except this time the lights didn't blinking, tried disconnecting the PSU and put it in, press the connect button, turn on/off the mouse and it still dead. So it looks like I am going to have to call them for an RMA.

Anyone know what kind of turn around time are like? are we talking about weeks or months here?

Can't fault them tbh.

My MX1000 was having issues with lag so I contacted Logitech and they asked me to do a few brief tests to check there was a fault, and then stuck a replacement in the post within a few days - was with me within a week.

Did you have to sent the broken one back.

p.s. 3 hours in the craddle now, still not charging.

My mx1000 is faulting now too after 2 years, it wont charge unless I turn the mouse off on the button underneath!

lol i had exactly the same problem, and it took me about 3 days of total frustration to realise that whilst i had it plugged into the USB port, the power adapter cable wasnt in the back!

now it works again

I received great service from them. My 3 year old MX700 was flaking some paint so they sent me a brand new one within a week. I was asked to cut the ends off the old one (USB and power cables) and send them to them but i didn't (kept it as a spare).

FANTASTIC.
Brilliant RMA system brilliant company.
I cannot relate how good Logitech are as you lot will take advantage of them

First class though without a doubt.

My dinovo desktop combi mouse packed up after 18months use and they sent me a whole new dinovo set (so now i have an extra media pad and keyboard

erm...............they told me to go to the retailer, that's not right is it?

It's going to cost me money to sent it back and stuff, should I wait another week and call them again, it'll be over 12 months then.

I didn't have to send my old one back, in fact its in a drawer right now...
