What is more powerful for gaming?

Hi,

My mobo is the Gigabyte X48T-DQ6. I've had a look online and in the manual but I can't ascertain what graphics chip it has. I suspect it's very low end, even as mobo graphics go.

Well, if someone does have an idea I'd be interested to know how that chip would fare for gaming compared to an AMD 3450 256mb pci-e card.

According to that, that model doesn't have onboard graphics - there isn't even a DVI/VGA port on the IO panel.

Can't imagine any X series board having onboard graphics?

The X48 chipset didn't have onboard graphics, so I'd crack on with your ATi 3450.

Sure this board and all x48 chipset mobos do not have on-board GFX.
