deadeyedic30 A Venus core Opteron or a Denmark core ?
If your talking 939 CPUs then Denmark is newer since it is E6 (and dual core, CD, in other words a Toledo) while Venus are E4 (and single core, BN, San Diego).

There may also be Venus E6 but I haven't seen any myself.

A rival site has Opteron 1 sereis list as follows,

Opteron 185 Venus core
Opteron 170, 175 and 180 Denmark Core

Could this be correct ?

No, all 939 14x and 15x series Opterons are single core "Venus" (Athlon 64 "San Diego").

All 939 16x, 17x, 18x series Opterons are dual core "Denmark" (Athlon X2 "Toledo").

The 185 is a 2.6 Ghz, 1MB cache per core part (same as the 939 FX-60 but without the unlocked multiplier).

The core name on that site is an error as the 185 cannot be a single core "Venus" since that is reserved for the "San Diego" parts, it should be "Denmark" (the "Toledo" part).
