end this year was orignal date.. but if we are being honest they will be in no rush as they are still selling bucket loads of 5 series. I would image they will hold back till next year now but this is only a guess...

Until 28nm I wouldn't get to excited if I were a 5000 series card owner as it's pretty much a given that the next generation of cards from ATI will still be using 40nm so performance improvements are going to be limited unless they dramatically increase the amount electric being fed to the card. Still it will good to see AMD and Nvidia forced to improve their products without the luxury of a die shrink.
