Basically what temperature do you consider to be a appropriate time to wear shorts?

I feel like wearing shorts now but its 16 degrees so not sure if its quite hot enough to look appropriate. The suns out though.

If you are wearing shorts reading this, what temperature is it outside at the moment?

I've been wearing them (well, depends on what you class as shorts, mine are just below the knee) most days for the last month.

I'm always warm though, and our office is like a sodding oven (26.6ºc in here right now). It's apparently 17ºc outside today, and I'm in "shorts".

25C+

Was regularly wearing my winter coat until the start of this month.

Pretty much the same as i was going to say but without the wearing of my winter coat...around about late May i wear my hoodie with my tshirt underneath.

But anything less than 25c i wont wear shorts as i find it too chilly for my liking.

I only tend to wear shorts on holiday as its not often hot enough in this country to warrant them, however, shorts are acceptable any time really.

I wear shorts inside from as soon as i put the heaters off or away. (april) Until I have to start wearing long trousers inside again. (october)

Shorts indoors is far more comfortable, i don't mind if it rains as long as the temp is high enough to wear shorts and tshirt, then im happy. Sitting inside next to heaters all the time is not good.
