What is the B3 about??

Hi, I havent been on here for a while because last time i did everyone was sending their boards back for exchange because of a common problem. That was back in February, so i assume thats all sorted out now. So now im looking for a new I7 Asus set up and was looking for any advise really.

What happend about the problem with the boards and also how do i avoid getting a reworked one. Is that what the B3 is all about??

B3 mobo's have the 'fixed' silicon, so go with a -B3.

Fixed = Repaired old board or fixed from manufacture?? IE brand new??

Fixed in this context means a revised design which removes a previously identified hardware fault by the manufacturer. Go with B3.
