As title, whats the best card this PSU will power without going boom:

Generic 350W
16Amps on 12v rail :(

Whack a 4670 in there an be happy :)

You sure that doesnt draw too much power?

Other specs will be...

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7750+ Black Edition 2.70GHz
Foxconn M61PMV nForce 430
GeIL Black Dragon Evo One 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz DDR2
IDE 160GB hdd
IDE DVD ROM

The 4670 will run fine with that spec, doesn't require external power and uses very little power. I would be very surprised if you had any issues.

Graphs from anandtech, that was with an "Intel G45 + Core 2 Quad Q9450"

I really cant afford a new PSU so this one will have to do.

The 4670 is a bit expensive I would like the 4650 for £46 but that will draw more power as its DDR2.

The 9500GT doesn't draw much power and they clock really well. Would that be a good choice?

A 9500GT doesnt even need 9 amps of 12v.

If your PSU is within 2 years of age - a 5 year old one wont be as spritely as it was off the shelf - it would be ok with an ATI 4770 card. Pity they are out of stock at the mo.

Edit: a quick search suggests the 9500 would only use about 2.5Amp.

Thats strange, XFX recommend 18A for their 9500GT. Im sure this will be more than it needs but would they overstate it by that much?
