I am finally upgrading from dual to quad core so I am about reinstall windows Vista. My PC is used mostly for gaming. What is the best configuration for a fresh Vista installation. I have 2 hard drives, a 1TB and a slightly slower 650GB. Do I setup the larger drive as my main operating system drive with the swap file on the second drive. I am not sure which drive I should install Steam and other games to. Currently I have games installed in both drives due.

Install everything on the larger faster drive, use he older second drive to save your backups to.
Vista reinstall, that'll take time, just the wa it was made, vista is almost 7, but slower under the hood, takes a while to reinstall.
