What is the best ram for a fx-60 chip

1GB/2GB? Will you be running 1:1 and are you just going to use the CPU multi?

Personally: OCZ PC4000EB 3-3-2-5 1T @ 250mhz or overclock Corsair 3500LL Pro from 219mhz to 250mhz hopefully keeping CAS2.5.

Then 12x250 = 3ghz

going to run 2gb ocz sounds good all ways seem to have problems with corsiar

If money isn't an issue, go for the mushkin redline 2x1gig kit, it's probably the best 2gig kit for speed/timings.

That's the same as the OCZ PC4000EB which I mentioned - however OcUK have a deal on the OCZ coming this week.

If you'd said reliability/speed/timings i may have agreed with that statement. Otherwise the Ballistix are. Unfortunately they are discontinued at present because of the reliability issues although there is still stock available.

Samsung ucc is the up-and-comer at the moment and will probably improve with time. Infineon based ic's have tighter timings than ucc but usually can't clock as high.
