Hi just curious as im currentley playing around overclocking. I have done the small FFTs and Large FFTs , however do i need to keep doing both everytime i change a setting or can i just use on e and if so which is best? Thanks.

If you want a quick indication of general stability, Intel Burn Test (IBT) is probably better (google it, it's widely available). Otherwise, I use Prime on blend overnight (or longer) for longer term testing.

Prime Small FFT's will pretty much test the CPU for stability only
Prime Large will affect RAM a lot more as uses bigger block sizes when testing for prime numbers
Prime Blend will alternate between the two

If your PC is failing small FFT's then look at increasing Vcore
if your PC is failing large FFT's or blend then look towards vtt, nb etc as its RAM/chipset that is failing

IBT is good for a quick test, but you can find that even passing 20 passes of it but be prime unstable. It also doesn't narrow down your search for the instability as could be CPU, RAM or chipset itself failing..

Unless its a rather large clock change I would just give it a quick run on blend
