What is the difference between these 2 boards?

The gigabyte UD3R and the gigabyte UD4?

Which chipset?

Assuming X58 . . .

UD3R has an additional PCI-E x1 instead of PCI, and only 4 memory slots (16Gb supported).
UD4 has 6 memory slots (3x tri-channel) 24Gb supported.

ud3r has 4 memory slots and less pci slots for a start.....I had to look at the websitr to see that....thought of trying that yourself/
