what is the difference between these ?

Hi There not sure if this in the right forum , but what is the difference between these a 1280 x 720 & 1920 x 1080 res film or file ? do you get the black bars with these if they are in 16:9 ? thanks

Hi there,

As those video resolutions are also 16:9 then when played full-screen you shouldn't see any black bars on a 16:9 display.

If you are seeing black bars then check the video file is in fact this resolution (you can usually do this within the video player). For example I am currently watching a "720p" movie - however the actual resolution is 1280x688, therefore on a 16:9 display it will show with black bars.
