If the cpus are not overclocked, which is better in performance?

which is better value? taking into account prices of mobo need for each?
 
I've read the 2140 is equivalent to a X2 3600. I've bought the 2140 with the express aim of overclocking it sometime, but to be honest it seems fast enough at stock for what I use my PC for.
 
e2160

I bought a e2160 to mess about with / upgrade my spare server PC. I coupled it with my wife's 8600GT and came within 1000 points of my X2 4400+ with a 7800GTX on 3DMark03.

So I would guess a e2140 would rate somewhere between the x2 3600+ / 3800+

PS. the e2160 was oc to 2478 and the x2 4400 is overclocked to 2378.
