What is The Maximum Ram Speed The AMD A8 6600k Supports?

What is The Maximum Ram Speed The AMD A8 6600k Supports?

I've just been looking at the AMD A8-6600k CPU HERE at OcUK and it clearly states that the chip supports DDR3 2400!

I was under the impression that this pedicular chip only supported ram speeds of up to 1866 due to the IMC and the latest "Kaveri" A10's support up to 2133MHz

Its been a while, what am I getting wrong here?

Officially it is 1866Mhz for the A8-6600K, the A10-6800K is 2133MHz.

But you maybe able to run higher than 1866MHz.
