My PC has started to become slow to boot up, when you turn it on the fans turn on fine, but doesn't boot for normally about 7 or so seconds (Closer to 15 this time). Earlier this month (and about 6 months ago) it was having problems where it wouldn't boot at all. The fans were going, the lights were on, I could open the disk drive. This happens occasionally, but opening the side and pushing the connections and it will work again, but on both of these occasions it didn't work and only started doing so again after about 3 days and unplugging the connection between PSU and the motherboard.
It also has a problem with being left idle, after about 45 minutes or so of not being used it will crash. However, it has no problem if being used.
It is also having problems installing from discs, not completing installs and giving the message Not a valid win32 application. Sometimes though, after an install it will go to a blue screen (no writing) and restart. Just a moment ago trying to install FM07, I put the disk it and it fails to auto-run. So going through browse and selecting the setup.exe I was given the message
Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed
Is it a simple overheating problem? Although, I have three fans (front, back and on the CPU) whilst running at stock, so it shouldn't be overheating.
