Not sure what my real speed is for my core i5

CPU-Z & easy tune 6 reports it at 3.4 ghz while core temp says 1.3 ghz which then changes to other values and real temp reports it at just over 2 ghz

Whats this all about ?
Or should I just ignor these speeds and take the BIOS Base clock and multiply it by the multiplier - which according to the bios the multiplier can be set to a maximum of 20 where's core temp & et6 report the multiplier tobe 24

CPU accelerator is disabled
& quickboost is set to default

Think cpuz shows the proper one.

A 24 multiplier does seem quite high though.

I thought the max for the 750 was 21 or 22x. Odd.

You could try updating your bios and see if it helps.

Oh and disable all those power saving & turbo features. It should stop the multiplier from jumping between idle and load states.

The i5 750 has a multiplier of 20 when multiple cores are in use, turbo boost puts it at 24 when just one core is under load. with not much load, the multiplier could be anything.
