Hi all,

My current network card is nothing special at all and is very inadequate. I can't get a signal in my bedroom from it, whereas I get full signal on my laptop (newish dell XPS15).

I'm after a new network card and I want the best that'll work with my PC please! One suggestion I have had so far is an ASUS PCE-AC68

Thanks.

Hi,

The router is a Sky Hub SR102. What info do you need for the 'how is it set up' part please? (please excuse my technical ignorance).

Thanks

Tom

well...use your own router. If you're prepared to shell out 80 on wifi card, you might as well buy Asus RT-AC66U or something similar.

if you need a wifi card anyway, then TL-WN822N will do.

Our internet speed is pitiful, we're lucky to get over 3mbps, so my main concern is ensuring my PC can get a good connection with the router rather than ensuring the router is coping with the connection passing through it.

If the TL-WN822N will solve my problem then thanks very much :)

you can try that first, it's merely a tenner.

Thank you, definitely worth replacing my current PCI with this one. Being USB connected should help with placing it in my room away from the PC corner too.

Thanks

Tom
