Each evening I see the worst looking drivel advertised for bbc 3 that resembles a slightly more cheeky cbbc comedy.

I can't imagine anyone older than 14 would be interested in the rubbish they show, althpugh this rubbish is shown at 10pm which makes me wonder they're actually targeting young adults with plop like "bad education".

Does anyone know what the idea behind bbc 3 is, is it so that 14 year olds can use their sky boxes to record programmes in the absence of things to watch on cbbc?

It really puzzles me.

IIRC BBC3 is aimed at teens to early 20's, and from what little attention I've paid to it a lot of the time they've got stupidly named programmes (obviously aimed at the age group to get their attention), but often more serious than the name suggests for the factual stuff.

Yep, it's yoof tv. At least BBC3 gave us The Call Centre though, and there was that thing about drugs with a lovely wee girl presenting.
