On every post there's a 'Trust' button below it. Clicking that gives me a pop-up from http://trust.overclockers.co.uk, which asks me to log in and then give a lot of contact information (with no details on how it's used, who can see it etc).

What is the purpose of 'Trust' and what does it let me do?

Thanks!

Trust contains contact details for members. It also allows other members to provide member feedback when they've engaged in purchases / sales through the members market. A "web of trust".

Trust is how you access the hidden 'secret' porn forum. Once you have the required number of positive comments in your Trust you are afforded entry to said forum.

It's how you send people private messages, the the comments bit is for leaving feedback from the members market.

like uncle petey's trust shows he has been buying water cooled pc bits and the seller was happy

with 34 positive comments and 0 negative he is most likely a trust worthy person

It's an illusion. I haz scammed every last one of them, then killed them, haxxored their accounts and posted positive feedback to myself.

Nobody can be trusted.

Also, no dark theme? I am dissapoint. You're next.

Can everyone in this topic write me some nice trust messages so I can be an upstanding member of the community and very trustworthy?

I am totally legitimate, because I am not a shop.

My trust seems to get used by people that didn't like me saying something to them on the forum so they trust me a passive aggressive message.

it makes me sad
