What is the Uk equivalent of a PG-13 rating?

PG or 12?

Means anyone under 12 can see the film with an adult where as in America anyone under 13 can see the film with an adult

Is that so he can't see you dressed up in your Superman costume?

I was tempted to dress up in one as I was dressed up in mine when I saw Superman IV (I was 5)
