What is this control called? (Pic!)

It's the control that displays any spaces/returns/tabs etc, but whats it called? Someone has managed to activate (by mashing buttons) it in their M$ Outlook and now can't turn it off, if anyone knows the awnser to any of it, or just a name of the control that should help me track it down!

How I hear you ask? Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map gives you the names of most characters in its status bar :cool:
