I upgraded my rig a while back and after updating XP to SP3 I had 4 entries in Device Manager with exclamation marks and it said there were no drivers for these devices, they were all called Audio Device on Internal High Definition Audio Bus.

After trying reinstalls of the drivers for the Gigabyte motherboard audio (Realtek) and also my Creative PCI soundcard, the entries still remained.

It wasnt until I updated and clean installed the latest Nvidia Graphics card drivers for my GTX460, the entries seem happy now and this is what it looks like below.

The thing I dont understand is, nothing on the rig other than the graphics card is Nvidia, I didnt think graphics cards could do audio ???

Yeah that is sound through your graphics card through HDMI. Disable (dont uninstall) them as they have been known to crash your PC if you have both your main sound and the Nvidia sound running.
