What is this hole in the back of my PC case for?

Does anyone know what this pop-out hole might be for? It looks like it's shpaed for something specific.

Looks like a punch out for a 9pin d-type serial socket or a VGA socket.

Yeah, I think you're right too. I have serial and VGA already so maybe I'll put a USB cable though it :-)
