ok so my basic spec is:

Athlon 64 3500+
Radeon x700
1gb ram

Ok it's not a top spec any more but i know that is is more than capable of playing Pro evolution on highest level because I have been playing it without problems from it's release on Wednesday untill today it suddenly decides to freeze and restart my computer! It makes a kind of weird sound when it turns off like something you hear in a power cut or along those lines, and then the monitor says no signal, i can't see or hear anything and the computer has 2 be reset. This also happened on pes5, which again worked fine for about 5 months before doing the same thing. I'm sure it's not graphics related because it does the same on other settings and i've used many different drivers. Sometimes before it freezes, I can see things from the background possibly from desktop, this may be related?! I would consider upgrading but it could be a waste of money if the thing i buy isn't the actual cause. If you want a full spec, send me one of those programmes that shows you your spec and i'll put it up. Help would be much appreciated.

So what make and model is your PSU then? (You didn't include that in your system spec above?) Have you checked your video card temps/fans? (Have you maybe got some diagnostics software with which you can monitor the Vid card fan/temp etc? Have you checked if this is still normal?) I had the fan on my vid card die without me noticing until things started going pear shaped onscreen etc. Things were ok on the desktop but the moment I pushed the hardware things went a bit peary. Have you installed any drivers or done anything else to your PC when this started happening? (I would agree that your spec should be quite sufficient to play pretty much whatever you want within reason, particularly if it's been fine on the same system before.)

micro ATX Mini_Tower W/550W PSU.
No i haven't done all that diagnostics stuff because i don't knowwhere to get the software or how to use it really lol, is it easy to do? I have updated drivers but only after the problem happened.
