I can tell that it's damaged. I'd like to know what exactly looks wrong with it. It doesn't sound like a 'stuck pixel' or 'black pixel' problem.

How good is Asus with RMAs? I bought this in America, but I've already signed up for the warranty.

You better contacts Asus and see about setting up an RMA, if you are lucky they will be able to do it with in Europe for you.
