What is this screen?

Anyone? Had this again last night. Don't know whether it's my overclocking, drivers or the monitor. Both monitor and GPU are new so want to narrow it down.
 
Have you tried any other games? looks a bit like the monitor's internal processing hardware is faulty but it is hard to narrow it down from just that video unless someone has seen the same problem before.
 
Yes sorry I should have mentioned, it's not game specific. It can happen when launching a game or a benchmarking tool, anything graphically intensive it seems.
 
It's weird because it's not just flashing, or going blank, there is a graphical texture to the image which I think you can just about see towards the end of the video. It will flash like that a few times then remain fairly blank, with an element of backlighting still (i.e. not a fully black screen).
