What is this spider? False widow?

Fitting place to add my latest spider tale ...

Driving to work yesterday morning (dark and raining - its winter) and felt something by my shirt collar, went to scratch it and then the 'itch' crawled up my neck and onto my cheek ....

Grabbed it with my left hand and flung it into the passenger footwell and somehow didnt crash!

The worst part is that I cant find it now

This reminds me one morning I was getting into the car and noticed a spider had made a massive web in the passenger side from the seat edge to the dash and was sitting in the middle.

Ain't no spider getting a free lift from me. I opened up the shed, whipped out the vacuum and sucked it right up. Thinking back, I could have just flicked it and watch it go flying into the sunrise.

I almost grabbed a black widow not too long ago. I keep my charcoal out on my patio, against the wall and it was had gone behind it. No idea how I didn't grab it when I picked up the bag of charcoal. Needless to say, it swiftly met the bottom of my flip flop. There was one in the my hose reel box too which got a coating of spider spray. No doubt there was an egg sack hidden away somewhere that I've missed and I'll have hundreds of the things running around in a few months.

I found this little fellow when power washing the drive

Makes me smile to think of all those flies it has eaten which otherwise would have been flying around the house annoying me.
