No doubt it's good but a LCD will be better just to put it simply, if you demand the best image.
Shame though, its in the right price range massive sive and a very nice case, not a fan of the stand though.

Dude, DLP front projection is used in digitally equipped theatres... DLP rear projection uses the same technology. DLP tends to give better blacks (contrast ratio) than LCD for a start.
Dude, just because it's used in a cinema doesn't make it on par with a LCD TV, it's out of convenience, don't see many 200"+ LCD panels around and they won't be cheap :D

No, it's because LCD technology is inferior.

Otherwise they'd use LCD projectors instead of DLP.
I think you misunderstand my arguement, by LCD Tv I don't mean projection, just your normal.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but even in this pictures granted they weren't of the highest quality the colours look well faded compared to a decent LCD TV.

Christ calm down, I don't understand what size have todo with this argument, I'm just on about the picture quality and it's clearly lower to me, is there any 40" DLP arounds? I can gurantee they won't look as vibrant as a LCD, as for value for money yes they are better, but once again i'm only taking about PQ.
If you guy's are happy with your DLP's good for you, i'd just prefer a LCD thats all.

If people we're only after value for money yes they'd buy that but theres a reason why we pay the extra for a nicer picture, rather have a sony bravia than a no name lcd for example.

I'm not saying your wrong for buying a DLP, good on you it's a lot better than the TV I currently have, i'm just saying I would prefer to have a LCD even if it's a little smaller and a lot more expensive that's all, I just believe the picture on the LCD will be better, but the picture on these are obviously very good readin the reviews.

Ones i've seen in shops LCD's have been better, granted everything had been connected badly, but just the colour seems to be brighter.

EDIT: Anyone got any pics of the tv from the top? Just interested how thick it is, why don't they make LCD's with the front bezels like that :/
