What's all this formatting on the document and how do i turn it off? The guy who sent it hasn't a clue where it came from:

Isn't that change tracking? Ie you want to turn "track changes" off...

Couldn't make my mind up cos the document seems pretty screwy except for the stuff on the side, and iirc formatting is included in tracking changes.

Its called markup on 2003

I'm using 2007 so I dunno much about 2003.
