I guess you can twist it around to mean it doesn't make your life easier than it should be, but prevents it from being harder than it should be?

Just because I'm white I'm not getting a free ride anywhere. However I bet I get treated a lot better in some situations than a black person, or other ethnicity for that matter, would.
