What is your dream case?

Retail cases are not really dream cases since they can just be snatched up with a small price tag. My dream case would be one that is completely silent, keeps everything sub 30 and can shrink all components into the size of an iPhone.

Someone design that asap please :) ty

my dream case... I let you know when I've designed it myself :)

Seriously I'd design my own case if money was no object

If money is included then dream cases (would need to buy the parts too lol)
fractal node 304 for render machines (i7's 16gb ram, gpu etc)
Main work machine would likely be a fully watercooled dual socket xeon 8 core, 32-64gb ram 4gpus etc in a little devil (aka ldcooling) tower case or maybe a caselabs case

mountain mods
canyon 695

or something built into a desk like that famous one with the glass top and ive forgotton the name of it ............doh

Guess it depends, if I'm watercooling then probably a Custom Mountain Mods Ascension.
If air cooling then possible a Silverstone Fortress FT02.
If it's for a media centre then the OrigenAE S21T looks pretty nice.
If it's for testing stuff then some sort of testbench chassis.

It's occurred to me that I've never used any of the cases I've listed here.
All I know of them is what I've seen on the internet (or been told by a friend). So all I really know is that someone else likes them, I've no idea if I actually would when it comes down to the practicalities of actually using the case for what I want.

I just wondered if anyone else here did the same thing (listed a case that seems good in a review but that you haven't actually used and so don't know if you'd actually like it)?

I really like the small cube type cases, brushed aluminium or similar finish. These will remain a dream for me since I also like full ATX boards and lots of space for hard drives etc inside. I think I'll just have to wait until they invent the technology of Dr Who's Tardis for the case I really want (but then I probably couldn't afford it anyway).

Currently mulling over a Fractal R3 and some Lian Li offerings. From what I can see of the R3 you can't add individual hard drive coolers which is putting me off at the moment.

Abit different here..
CUBITEK AIO, i adore this case. It has so much potential and so much room for hardware. Just shame about the £200 price tag :(

I've only just finished watching a video on you tube where they modded one of these case's.

What a bizarre case to start with but they modded it and looked rather nice once they had finished.

I'm yet to see one that actually wows me. Not becasue I have high standards, but I don't really see the point at the moment as my current case (Bitfenix Outlaw) does the job and is all black so it's good enough for me.
