What is your favourite Fallout game?

I haven't played the Fallout games for years and fancy starting to play them again. The question is which one should I play first? I have Fallout 3, Fallout: NV and Fallout 4 and all of them have all the DLC.

Also are there any essential mods for them? I usually install the unofficial bug fix mod, but I'd be open to installing some other mods as well.

For some odd reason Fallout 3 GOTY won't work on my computer. It launches and then instantly crashes. This is with no mods installed and a clean install after deleting everything and redownloading using Steam.

Edit: Got it working. Now for some fun .
