ok, dunno why but eclipse seem to be doing somthing to torrent traffic, was downloading the current ubuntu relese on torrent at 13k/s for some stupid reason when its been at over 220k/s stable until start of last month

I'd love to go BE but they arn't in my area :(

no cable providers here, no LLU either

need somthing that compairs with eclipse FLEX 1000 (the one meg package, no limits on downloads/uploads and the ability to flex to two meg when I want) on price but without the limits to torrents etc

I've also started having problems connecting to EVE-Online (dunno if any other eclipse users play, do you have issues too?)

thanks in advance

Id recommend Tesco broadband if i had tried something better than the 512kbps package, probably the last isp on the net to offer broadband with no traffic shaping.

ADSL24. Very good provider, they are having some technical problems at the minute due to a router, but its nothing major. First problem in a long time from them so they are reliable.

They are all good. There is a thread on the first page where I listed the main resellers that I could think of at the time.

been with ukfsn for just over a month now. cracking connection compared to my old isp - bt the ******** *******. :D

but of course the connection is directly through enta. it doesn't really have anything do with ukfsn. all resellers are the same in the that respect. sure i get free email/webspace with ukfsn. and you can even log support issues with ukfsn as well. but there isn't much point - enta have 24/7 support so if you have a problem with the connection, you might as well call them direct. and even the billing is done directly to enta as well.

edit: ukfsn don't do uncapped. maybe try adsl24 if you fancy forking out 70 squids a month for that. i'm happy enough with my measly 30gb peak /300gb off peak for 19.99.

Not quite.
Some of the resellers do some of the work themselves, for example the L2TP resellers are effectively only buying Central capacity from Enta, handle billing themselves and then provide internet access, email etc through their own network.
