Hi
Ok well it’s the usual What ISP.
I am moving out and will need to get an ADSL ISP I am on cable now so going to miss that as the speeds at the house will be a lot lower
Not been on ADSL for a long time but the exchange only has SKY/Easynet and TalkTalk for LLU
Wish this had more but guess I have to use what is on offer
My main use is newsgroups and large files
From what I can see from the forum SKY are quite good with no fair usage but you have to have the TV phone and BB all from them costing £38 a month so quite expensive and the only thing I would watch would be sky 1 but any TV program I watch is from the newsgroups to get the HD version so it’s not needed
Talk talk Pro would work out less at 26.48 and does not sound bad if you get it on LLU and pro but i am not 100% sure but this is where you can help is it any good ?
Samknows puts the new house down as a ADSL+2 at 7Mbps
Would you go with talk talk Pro or sky ?
I am ok for downloading in the day time / overnight been used to working around VM limits on cable
Cheers
Richard
