Can't belive it. I'm ordering my new parts tomorrow and I've been checking everyday the same spec, allways the same price for the past 2 weeks and then just 5 minutes ago I checked again and nearly all my parts have went up in price. My spec list is now nearly £50 more expensive !

Sadly that happens, with the pound against the doller dropping Overclockers don't get a good exchange rate when they purchase! :(
 
Vaguely on topic...

A certain high street tat-ware store would increase their prices right before the x-mas/Jan sales to make it look like they were making large reductions during the sales.

Edit: Not saying this is a practice OcUK do
 
£50 is nothing... my missus paid for her flight to Tokyo recently. She's not flying until April so figured getting the tickets in advance would be the cheapest option. Checked on Virgin Atlantic's website the other day and the same tickets on the same dates are now £300 cheaper! To say she's gutted is a bit of an understatement.

bah, what about the fact that i spent a few hours of my precious time on an OcUK website feature that everyone seams to like and may be implemented ? :p
 
The $ has gone a bit mad recently, but the pound seems to be recovering slightly. It's the backlash from that low point that's now pushing the prices up - it takes a few weeks for it to filter through to the retailers which is why we're only seeing it now.

If you give it a few weeks more that upturn should work its way through the financial system and prices will go down again. Depends how desperate you are to get your kit right now.
