What keyboard d'you use?

Well, my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard arrived this morning and I really like it so far. It seems to be very simple, but very good quality. The illuminated keys are perfect and make my old Saitek look like a joke. The lesser downward key travel is making me type faster already, I swear!

I'm wondering, what are wireless keyboards like to game with?

I only play games at a amateur level and I'm not in a clan.

I just like the stealth look wireless gives.

I'll let you know when I get mine. i cant imagine it making any difference tbh. Wireless joypads work just fine.

I miss my old saitek 3 keyboard. Miles better than this G11 piece of crap imo. Keys were a lot nicer to press and less noisy the led was tones brighter. I only got the G11 cos snowdog seemed to like it and said it was canny but i really wish i didnt get it now. Stylish for sure and macros are handy but the led, the keys are very rubbish.

Logitech G19 although i wouldnt reccomend it.. keys sometimes stop working lcd display freezes. for £120 i expected something better.

Microsoft sidewinder x4, my first "gaming" keyboard. I think it's excellent for around £30 it has all the features I need. The only downside is red backlit looks more like pink when exposed to light.

A lot of Eclipse users in here, I have one myself as well.

Had it for a while, so long in fact that it now has to worn patches where the palm of my hands sit :D

Both at work and at home.

That's my KB at work! When I joined I had a used one on my desk, having none of that I rummaged and found a new and boxed Dell (the above) - It's a nice KB but key travel is too long I find and after a few weeks dust/crumbs begin to stick to the side of the keys as the gaps are like caverns so it's handy keeping a cloth or something close by to keep it looking like it hasn't been infested :p

K750 review is up in hardware forum btw for those who requested it!

Use to use a Sidewinder X6, cant get on with the large distance between the numpad keys and the cursor arrow keys, because of the detachable mechanism.

Now got a Logitech G11, much happier.

Saitek Eclipse 2 for almost 4 years'ish, good keyboard but wish the lights were brighter but I've found this keyboard be loud when hammering keys so on the search for a new kb

Mine is what appears to be a Packard Bell 5149 keyboard. It has the following features: Good loud click, surprisingly responsive, a strong feeling steel base (who wants some? :p), a nice springy feeling space bar, a minimalistic layout and a lovely alternating grey and beige pattern on the F-Keys and a big bonus over one of my older keyboards: It doesn't have an inconveniently placed 'off' button in between the return and delete keys.

Although the keyboard does have some drawbacks: Apparently the keyboard pre-dates Windows 95 as it has no Windows key or equivalent and there is some paint on the right side of it.

I would have bought the x6 but many people say it has rollover problems? you would think that Microsoft would fix it but instead they release the x4.
