Hello there in the past I have built mine own mackintosh and now I want,t to make gaming pc.
I already have a Gigabyte GV-N1070G1 gaming 8GD rev 2 videocard.
I have a intel I7 3770K CPU
Also corsair 16 gb (4x4gb) ram 4 times
Mine power is corsair HX 750
Now I have a couple of questions with motherboard do you recommend it muss startup with NVMe or M.2 drives.
I wan,t mine games storage on mine Synology NAS or do you advice to buy storage and so yes what kind of storage.
And do I need the videocard on mine new gaming pc on the motherboard or not.
And here for so far mine final question.
I have a cabin 44cm width 35 high and 50 cm deep now I,am looking for a case that starts up over the net or with a remote control.
Witch case can you advise me.

I,am sorry for mine bad English but it isn't mine native language.

Hopley some one can help me with this

Best regards Cal

Do you want to build entirely new pc or want a board compatible with 3770k?
Wake-on-lan in supported on 99% of the modern motherboards, but it can be a bit finnicky.

First of all I thank you for your response
I want,d build a new gaming PC
But I have those ( I think ) excellent components already.
And if one of mine components are not good enough, I have to buy me a different one.

You'll probably struggle to find a new motherboard for such an old CPU.

You can get 2nd gen motherboards that will work with a BIOS update, or you can buy a 3rd gen motherboard.

More here:

Be careful that you don't pay too much for the motherboard, because otherwise you're better off with a newer CPU.

it muss startup with NVMe or M.2 drives.
Hmm, I think you'll find that M.2 slots are very uncommon (or not present) with 3rd gen motherboards. I think they started being fitted with 4th gen, but were not widespread until 6th gen.

Older games might be alright, but I think newer games may not work very well due to the network and access latency.

I have not tried this though, so I'd investigate further.

Personally, I'd just buy SATA/SSD drives, since they're plentiful, widely compatible and relatively cheap.

And do I need the videocard on mine new gaming pc on the motherboard or not.
Are you asking if you need integrated graphics? You don't need it, not if you use the 1070.

This forum uses your native language, I believe.

I,am sorry but I,am dutch so that's mine favorite language.

pc depends on what type of gaming you want to do, and what budget you want to spend. If the 1070 is going to be it, then the above is fine, if you plan on getting a newer more powerful card, it'd be worth lookngat an am5 build that can grow with you(as it'll ast longer with upgradeabilty as being supported for next few years), whereas intel will need another new mobo for next cpu launch
