I have a Saitek Eclipse keyboard and i'm looking to buy a KVM to switch between computers but keep the same keyboard/mouse/monitor. I've heard the Saitek doesn't work with a lot of KVM's and i found one it does work on, but it isn't available in the UK. Are there any known KVM's that let the Saitek function properly that are availabile in the UK?

Im guessing you would need a KVM that included a powered USB Hub. The PC's should have no trouble detecting the USB devices as they are switched in and out, but because the keyboard draws power to illuminate, it most likely requires the KVM to supply that power.

Yea i know i need USB keyboard support that provides power and doesn't emulate mouse/keyboard control (that's meant to be a problem with saiteks in usb KVMs). I just need to find the right kvm.

I know this is an utterly useless response but it might be easier to find the right keyboard instead :D I'm typing on that seitek keyboard right now and I'm thinking of chucking it. Its not just that it don't work with my KVM, but it's silver keys are not silver, they are some ugly dull grey but worst of all, you can't press more than 3 keys simultaneously in games (e.g. sliding against a wall in cs using walk key + forward movement key + strafe key).

Slightly more useful...

Have you checked out the Belkin KVM's? I've also been looking at this one but its a bit pricey cuz of DVI.
